Waurn Ponds Creek rises on the slopes of Mt Moriac and flows eastwards for 20kms through agriculture and urban land until it joins the Barwon river in the marshes at the southern end of Belmont Reserve.

Baseball Carpark
Baseball carpark is situated on Pioneer Rd opposite Meadowvale Dr. You can access this site via the traffic lights.
Behind Bunnings
It is best to park in Bunnings rear carpark and then follow the path around to the site.
Denny's Crt
Denny's Crt is off Grove Rd, just West of Torquay Rd and heads in a northly direction.

Cobbin Farm
Follow Grove Rd to the end and park in the carpark at Cobbin Farm

Winter / Bailey St
Winter St is off Torquay Rd just North of the creek. Park near the corner of Winter and Bailey St and follow the path to our site.
'Friends' gather together to propagate plants from seeds, plant trees, shrubs & grasses, maintain the plants, clean up around the creek & have fun.
We support Clean Up Australia Day, World Environment Day and National Tree Plant Day.
Behind Factories
It is best to park in Grove Rd opposite Brearly Reserve (just East of Bailey St) and follow the path towards the walk bridge. Turn left before the bridge and walk towards Torquay Rd.

Rossack Dr Plant Site
It is best to park on Rossack Dr near the bus stop just South of Meadowvale Dr and then follow the path towards Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre.
The Friends of Waurn Ponds Creek has been an active group of community volunteers since 2002.
In February 2002 the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority funded a fish survey and found a variety of fish including the Yarra Pygmy Perch, a threatened species, still living in the creek. Find out more...
Barry Rogers Pavillion
The pavillion is near Meadowvale Dr and Pioneer Rd Intersection. Best to park at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre near the service station and follow the path over the walk bridge.
